Hi, I'm Rebecca Todd
I was the child who dodged PE and now I am a qualified Personal Trainer. As a child I couldn’t stand hockey or cricket, netball wasn’t too bad. However I have now found a love for the gym and wake-boarding (like water-skiing on a snowboard). Also I am a keen horse rider who can still appreciate the joy of sport in nature. In 2011, I decided I had put on too much weight and joined a Tae-Bo class which I loved doing. In 2014 I made the move to interact more with others, and joined Les Mills Body Combat classes at my local gym. I got the gym bug and joined as a full member in 2015-I’ve not looked back since. The gym instructors listened to my preferences in the gym and designed programmes that did not use the fixed weight machines, which is what I hated about the gym, this kept me coming back. Their support has motivated me to be a supportive and motivational personal trainer who can improve the health and well-being of others. I now love being in the gym. I believe that everyone can find joy in not only the gym, but in physical exercise as a whole if people have the right personal trainer. I not only have a personal trainer qualification, but am a masters graduate of psychology so can also support you with your mental wellbeing, and provide you with sports-based strategies to feel healthy on the inside and outside! I am a qualified First Aider and Mental Health First Aider.
All sessions are centred around the individual to promote physical and mental well-being. I promise to guide and support you on your fitness journey with empathy by listening to your goals and fears.
